How to Share your Smart, Sun, or Globe Broadband Internet through Ad Hoc Connections in Windows 7

Ever wondered how to use your USB internet connection and share it to your other wireless devices such as iTouch, iPad, mobile phones and many others. Just follow the quick guide below and enjoy your internet in more flexible ways.

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center
2. Choose Set up a new connection or network


3. Select Set up a wireless ad hoc (Computer-to-computer) network and click Next


4. A brief description comes up, just click Next again


5. On the setup window. Input the name you wish to use for the connection(anything).
6. Input the security type(preferably WEP due to compatibility issues with Apple products) and the password(5 characters)
7. Check the Save this network option if you wish to continually use this(if not you can just setup another one everytime you wish to share your internet connection.
8. Click Next


9. Wait till the setup finishes and you get the below window.
10. Choose Turn on Internet connection sharing and wait for it to finish.


11. Once done, connect any device as if you're connecting to a any wireless network.
