Cry of Defeat, A tribute to a Guild

Let's skip the prologue
and do as such
accept the haughty dialogue
that makes us this much

Sad,for wish of yearning
to defeat them foes that lived
to tell the tale of winning
that they unacceptably achieved

To us who've striven
to bravely fight this hard
to them who've driven
us to lose with the bard

We accept your victory
Oh' yes we do
that your win against emo university
even pain us this much too

Let this be a memoir
of the breathless fight we shared
a bard and dancer's repertoire
like two wolves' fangs bared

So back to reality
let's end this at last
we've fought with equality
neither unfairly nor unjust

For this is our tribute
this is our cry
this is the RESOLUTE
coz we'll once again try!!!

To you that we par swords with
To you I shout thy words
We'll see you in a month's time!!

This was the very first poem I created. Probably due to the outburst of emotions or whatever but still as I wish not for it to be lost in this cyberworld I'm publishing it. The original was first posted through facebook for a select few individuals to and then later on to a gaming forum linked below. The poem is about a tribute to a finalist of a monthly contest in which the team undoubtedly lost. Still the game was so intense as everyone had given a very good fight. Let this be the memory of such competition.
