What's New on Apple's latest iOS 5?

It's newest and improved features!

Notification Center

All your alerts. All in one place.

Notification Center is the best way to stay on top of your life’s breaking news.
From your new email, texts, friend requests, stocks and weathers and more. It's like an control room for all the updates that you need with just a swipe at the top of any screen to enter Notification Center. Choose which notifications you want to see. New notifications are displayed on the top for a few seconds without the annoying interruptions we usually get on the current models.  What's best is you get the notifications even on lock screen mode!

iMessage

iPad and iPod touch join the conversation.

It's basically like chatting but conveyed as SMS/MMS via IP(or the web). So as long as you're connected to an internet via Wi-Fi or 3G networks, you can have unlimited messaging with a conversation style so you can see the flow of your messages with one another. All this with a benefit of protection as this messaging comes with a secure encryption.

Reminders

A better way to do to-dos.

Now it's refined to better suit our working lifestyles! With it's location based reminders allowing us to give a better way of getting notified once we're there. Pretty comfy when we only need a reminder that every time we get to the mall not to forget that gift to buy. When we're detected to be  near at the mall, there comes up our neat reminder!

Twitter
Just about what a lot of people need. Twitter is now integrated right into the iPhone 5. This now allows us to tweet directly from Safari, Photos, Camera, YouTube, or Maps.

Camera
Now easily accessible especially on the Lock Screen as a button is in place to easily take snapshots and more.

Photos
WIth it's editing functions, we can now crop, make some adjustments, rotate the photos and other enhancements.

Safari
Not only did it improve in performance but the reading list allows us to easily save a site to which we are to read later on. The reader function helps us get rid of the ads and other frames when we wish to read smoothly without distractions.

PC-free
There you have it folks! No more PC reliance. Now we can do everything directly from our devices! Download updates, sync with other devices, back up and restore using iCloud and many more!

Multitasking Gestures
Allows us to have a few more maneuvers with our devices.

And, more improvements on their other features but these are the ones I liked the most.

Be on Guard - Hackers on the Move

Everyone should be more aware of their personal information saved, stored and sent over the web. Make sure you don't unnecessarily leave your unwanted personal secrets lying neatly on a Starbuck's table. Everyone may never be Celebrities but there's always a saying that "Prevention is better than Cure".

In this age of information where over-sharing has started to become a norm, everyone should still be cautious of their own personal information as each of this depicts how we are perceived in society. You can check more on the article below which caused a bit of a buzz this past few days. Some of their supposed photos were shared over the internet by a group of hackers which are now under investigation of the FBI.

Learn something from this and be always on the guard for what might happen next as it might be you who's next!
